We're bursting out of our seams with excitement! Connection Bank and Insurance will break ground on a new Burlington storefront in October 2017 with an anticipated opening date in the spring of 2017. Located in the Burlington Crossing Development, on the corner of Roosevelt and Market Street and adjacent to Sonic, the new building will be home to the organization’s existing Burlington facilities, the bank branch located in HyVee on Agency and the insurance office located on West Avenue. Additionally, a Market President will join the Connection Bank team to capitalize on new business opportunities, and Connection Insurance will begin the search for a licensed agent and commercial lines producer. Connection Bank President and CEO, Matt Morris, said of the expansion, “To say we’re excited, is quite an understatement! We’ve had great success in Burlington despite our limited visibility, but this new location is in a high traffic area, right in the middle of all the action, and will greatly increase our footprint in the marketplace.”
With roots all the way back to 1854, as the first bank in Iowa, Connection Bank and Insurance was formed in September 2016, the marriage of two cornerstone community banks; Fort Madison Bank & Trust in Fort Madison, including the Burlington location, and KSB Bank in Keokuk, along with their insurance affiliates.
