We're gaining momentum in our new venture in Burlington, IA! We proudly introduce Brock Ita who has joined the team as Market President in Burlington. In case you haven't heard the news, we're in the process, along with Connection Insurance, of building a new storefront on the corner of Roosevelt and Market Streets in Burlington with an anticipated opening date in May.
Ita, born and raised in Danville, attended the University of Iowa and Wartburg College. He received his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from the University of Louisville. While at the University of Louisville, Ita worked in corporate sales and marketing for Churchill Downs, the world famous horse racing track and home of “The Kentucky Derby”. Upon graduation, Ita moved to Las Vegas, NV, again working in sales and marketing this time with the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He returned to Southeast Iowa five years ago where he began his career in banking. Ita says of his new opportunity, “I am really excited about starting a new chapter in my banking career at Connection Bank. I recently heard a great definition for the word “culture”. It was simply defined as, “the way we do things around here”. Connection Bank’s culture was one of the main attractions to me when I was presented with the opportunity to join the team. Their commitment to deep personal relationships with customers and team members is what stood out. I am looking forward to continuing that in the Burlington market!”
Ita and his wife Amy live in Danville with their three sons. He is a member of Harmony Bible Church and has been involved in several school-related and non-profit organizations in the area.
